A BOX OF
MOBILITY’S STORIES
An audiovisual, storytelling serial project developed by the University of Siena to promote the city and its territory, its human resources and its formative offer.
An unconventional and an original point of view: the one of the incoming students, who have been living a mobility’s experience, finding in the city of Siena a transit place, an end point or a (re)starting point.
A polyphonic story divided in five chapters; five testimonies from all over the world and many more daily life stories, stories of discovering the city with its locals and its lifestyle.

The project aims to deepen the relationship between the city and the world, in order to broaden Siena to a cultural exchange hub and to an educational growth hub.
UniSi StoryLab addresses the incoming students of today and of tomorrow to discuss the connection between the territory and the university, but also to discuss the formative offer, the potential, the services and the opportunities made in UniSi.
It also addresses anyone who wants to know Siena from a new perspective, from the perspective of cultural confrontation and from the welcoming perspective.

“We are the others”. Someone said. “ We all are the others”. Someone else added. The University of Siena strongly believes in the internationalization as an educational and as a human growth factor and for this reason, the University promotes the glocal culture.
As a matter of fact, the stories set and lived in Siena by the international community of students are the best opportunities to reflect on current topics, such as the local identities, the local dimension and the global dimension. A very serious and critical reflection, not ideological; with no rhetoric but just with a sense of reality.
